On a whim decided to purchase a puck of Bay Rum and Rosemary shaving soap from this company via the Ebay.. Not impressed, a lather so wishy washy and thin I didn't even attempt to have a shave with. I tried for more than a minute to whip up the start of a lather but a pointless exercise. Such a shame as they make a very interesting range of aromas, a pity they have not got the basics right. It left my skin feeling tacky and coated. The other down side is that the puck is too narrow and tall so the taper does not fit my shaving mug at all. Before I used it ended up slicing it in half across the waist so that it would fit nicely. one for the bin or to make my sock drawer smell nice I suppose. You live and learn.

I tried some last year - with the same result.
Very poor performance as a shaving soap, but I used it as a shower soap and it was really very nice.
I did send a polite email, with constructive criticism, but I never received a reply.
