Good to see you back, I read on the other forum you'd had some health problems I hope you are doing well with your recovery.I thought there would be a thread on this. I stocked up many years ago. I grate a Palmolive with an Arko into a shaving bowl and it lasts for many weeks. As I had got down to three of each I decided to reorder. So now it's only available on Amazon and Ebay - several offers at £3 a stick if you buy 4 or more plus postage. Old Scrooge isn't paying that. So I'll cut the three left in half and add a full Arko each time. That might see me out. But I have ordered another 12 Arko sticks at £8.99 delivered. So what might I mix those up with that's decent value?
And just to mention to old friends. I'm still using my old Tech with red personna blades with my small group of New Forest brushes which rarely shed a hair and as good as ever. I have got into bad habits during lockdown. Shaving about every three days. Look a bit like an elderly footballer.
My take is nobody really cared about the Palmolive stick until discontinued then suddenly it rose to forum fame
after searching google high and low i finally found a website which has the shaving sticks in stock. if anyone needs the link its: https://ssukdirect.co.uk/health-beauty/shaving-hair-removal/palmolive-shave-stick-50g-2/
Ive used them for so many years now i dont want to change brand haha, slightly more expensive than i used to pay but i suppose theyre discontinued now.
hope this was helpful
thanks

I never got on with the mess of using a shaving stick, so grated my last Palmolive into an old empty Proraso green tub.I thought there would be a thread on this. I stocked up many years ago. I grate a Palmolive with an Arko into a shaving bowl and it lasts for many weeks.
Wilkinson Sword sticks are no longer available from Energiser/Edgewell UK, so I can't re-stock.
I’ve had a few off these people and you only have to spend a fiver for free delivery.

Dave.
it,s not as bad as some people would have you belive ,however it,s a gycerine soap so if you plan on storing it for a while between use,s ,wrap it in cling film or it will shrink into half the size ,lolI recently bought a tub of the Wilkinson Sword soap as it was on offer at £1 and gave it a go.
Took a little work to whip up decent lather, but it's really not at all bad to shave with.
