This might be a bit too early: http://70s-watches.com
or what about: http://www.retro-watches.co.uk
There's another one in the back of my mind, which I'll try to remember.
I recall having a digital watch in the 70s and riding home from school, in the rain, on my Carlton cycle - only to find that the display had, due to 'water ingress', gone T!T5 up and invented its own language ...
Congratulations. There is nothing like winning a golf competition and a sleeve of golf a balls is a sleeve of golf balls. I think I kept the first sleeve I won for well over a decade!
Learning Japanese. Something I dabbled with many moons ago. Now taking a proper run at it. Hajimemashite. Vinny to moushimasu. Yoroshiku onegai shimasu. Etc. Etc. Using the "Japanese From Zero" books but have ordered "Genki" as I'm already OK with hiragana (ã²ã‚‰ãŒãª) and katakana (カタカナ). I'm following a few Japanese Golf (ゴルフ) accounts on Twitter and can make out most loan words but Kanji (æ¼¢å—) is a big, big hurdle.
