I have one. If you just look at it, it rusts!I fancy one of these little lock knives as they have a good rep and are great value. Not sure on steel choice though? Should I get carbon or stainless?
Sure. I should've said if you dry it as soon as you've washed it you'll be ok. I didn't..ive got a carbon blade no6, i have it on me every day for work and ive never had a problem with it
I have both, and although the carbon is very good I like my stainless more.I fancy one of these little lock knives as they have a good rep and are great value. Not sure on steel choice though? Should I get carbon or stainless?
Not sure but the carbon blade takes a very sharp edge. It's a cracking knifeYea well I know Carbon Steel has to be dried quick from straights lol (thin film of oil helps too) but what about performance difference?

I've got the No8 in both carbon and stainless. The stainless holds it's edge better but the carbon is easier to sharpen. I.
...That rust resistance of stainless, though, comes at a price. First, stainless tends to be a softer form of steel, which means it often won't hold an edge as well as carbon steel. That's right: carbon steel stays sharper longer than stainless.
