One Tough Irishman

Jack Campbell of The Royal Dublin Fusiliers, 16th Irish Division was aged 93 for this interview in 1988 and he died in 1992. It is simply stunning how lucid and quick was his mind at that advanced age and with such amazing recall. This guy was tougher than tree bark and probably held his socks up with thumbtacks. One cannot help but be touched when hearing his reply about desertion. Loyal to the tomb he was. Helluva man.
