I was browsing the Shavemac site earlier and ventured upon this rather interesting brush. It was designed by Dr Moss of Moss Scuttle and Moss Bros. fame. (Mantic demonstrates it in the accompanying video: click 'Zoom' to access it.)

A good all-in-one brush? Or just an expensive gimmick?
 
Funny that you should post this.

I am working on a project at the moment. When you have a separate knot and play around with it, it becomes obvious that the whole character of the brush depends on how low within the handle you set a knot of a given size. Just a mm or two lower, makes a significant difference to the firmness/density of the brush head. There is no way I would want such a brush although I can see how it might appeal to some.
