Old or New?

Based on a comment I've just read on the acquisitions thread, can anyone tell me if this is a Gillette Old or New and when it was likely to be manufactured?

Many thanks all.

It isn't the one you posted as the handle and head are different.

I thought it was too until I saw it 'in the flesh'.

Well, I would say it's the best DE I've tried so far. It even shaves like a dream with Derbys!

Ironically (apart from the SE's) it's one of the cheapest razors I've bought too.

You got a good deal there Paul.

I was trying to make a last minute bid at half-time whilst watching Exeter City lose another home league game, and my iphone didn't get a good enough signal until 2 minutes after the auction had ended.

It's good to know that it has gone to a good home though. :)

Ah, I've often wondered if I've been bidding against other forum-ites!

It wasn't a bad deal, but I don't think a spanker of a New would set you back much more.

That probably makes up for all the ones you beat me to! :icon_lol:
