Hey I'm not knocking anyone for trying lol, I'm the bloke that would rather spend £25 on Club de Nuit intense than £300 on Aventus...I'm all for finding a damn good substituteUntil I get a sample of viking I'm not sure how I could tell, all I can say is that the scent profiles of the two scents are similar, not the same but similar. With that being said it is understandable why some people may say that the two scents are similar.
We must also understand that the same scent on two different people can smell different so it's not an exact science by any stretch of the imagination and even the so call experts get caught out from time to time and I'm certainly no expert

Very nice Wayne. If I may give a little advise? Just be careful with the strop, make sure the razor has fully flipped over before starting your pass in the opposite direction as it is really easy to get carried away and dig in with the blade and ruin the strop. Voice of experience there mate.After loads and loads of creeping to my SWMBO, she has eventually released an early Christmas Prezzie.

Ah, now I can see the back it appears to be later 49> I was hoping to see really large drain hole's and the dark case made it hard to see if I could see through the comb or not yesterday.View attachment 30336

It's still a very nice razor, the case is unusual, maybe that's a 30s case but I couldn't swear on it. I don't know enough about them only the basic stuff.
It's a fab razor Wayne, shave with pride.
