okay so had a really nice head shave, did notice a difference from the first time i used it,
as daft as it sounds i think the first time i used the fatip oc slant i mustve not loaded the blade properly,
really enjoyed it, i'm loving the slant now and ive just got a merkur 39c slant on its way too

thanks to @GordyC for sending me a tuck of the green 7 o clock de blades which i used for the first time,
i must say its more of an all round blade, sharp enough and smooth, i think its good and i like it,
wouldnt say its my fave but could easily live with it tbh

honestly this fatip oc slant has really impressed me that I've bought it with me on my travels as my travel razor

The iKon x3 slant is very mild bit disappointed tbh, btw I've got a couple of slants and so far the fatip oc slant is the best by a mile tbh

The Merkur is proper mild now ... they retooled it somewhere around 2015. It used to have a thin top cap and was a super shaver back then. Yep! I found the iKon a bit crap, too.
Yea apart from the stainless steel the razors pants, however I will keep it for the sake of it more for the handle but also because I'm trying to collect slant razors as I really enjoy them generally

Lovely! You've found your kink (y)
Slants and toilet puck scented Turkish soaps, although that is a shorter collection to chase: Arko & Derby.

Check out Windrose: https://shaversdelight.co.uk/safety-razors/windrose-safety-razors
This head is a mad 'un! https://shaversdelight.co.uk/safety...lant-safety-razor-heads-only!-matt-made-in-uk! ... I have one in polished plate. It's proper heavy with a great blade feel <<<<< the forum keeps munging the URL, so when it says "The page you requested ..." put an extra ! on the end of the URL/address or go via Safety Razors > Safety Razor Heads on the page (and it's the second one).

I seen someone selling windrose de razor heads on ebay before wasn't sure if it was classed as a decent brand or not as I've never heard of them before
