Well, not quite, but I've taken early retirement and no longer have to shave every day for work. I still do most days out of habit, but it's great to have the odd lazy day when I just don't bother. It also makes the next one that much more enjoyable.
That's exactly my take on it, now I'm in a position to do what I want, when I want (subject to what her indoors says)I'm retired but don't feel right if I don't shave. Shaving is for me, not others.
I don't have any soaps but I do have a few creams, which I prefer to soap. My daily use one is Real Shaving Co. which is unscented but for a treat or special occasion I bring out the tubs of scentedSir, I gather you don't have many soaps... otherwise you would keep on shaving daily to use them all!
Seriously, congrats on the retirement. I think I would definitely miss my daily shave...
And, yes, got many soaps...
You and my both brother! I have a beard despite still being a working chap. I look too young to buy alcohol otherwise...I find that I'm only shaving my cheeks and neck nowadays. It saves more time. Love a beard!
