Hi, i recently bought nivea post shave balm for sensitive skin, because i have sensitive skin. but it stings when i use it... any help or other products that work better?

While we're on the subject of post-shave products created by TSR members you could also try Henk's wonderful balm:

and Sunbury's fabulous aftershave:

burning sensation and instantly red skin

Nivea stings with me too, I still havent found the right combo yet. Slick piffed me some yellow unction and i tried that a few days ago as preshave, momentarily flared my skin, Then last night I tried it post shave wwaaaaaaaaaaaa extreme burning sensation and instantly red skin, lots of cold water splashed all over and it settled down. It did leave my skin soft after it calmed down.

If your skin is reacting to the yellow unction, I can only imagine it is the essential oils that are causing the concern, and not the unction itself. Maybe we should try a fragrance free version for you. Contact me and I'll pif you a sample to try. I've never had anyone react badly to YU before.
