Nivea AS Balms

One of my favourite balms along with Proraso and La Toja...


There is a difference between the two sensitive balms at the front, one contains Witch Hazel and one doesn't.

It's Nivea Sensitive Recovery from Makeup, so probably aimed at Eastern Europe. I hope it's meant to be green rather than gone off. I sourced a glass bottle of the usual green pump dispenser. It's okay, but not as good as the standard two.

I have used the Nivia Sensitive ASB for years and really rate it. Price wise, it punches well above it's weight i think .

Apropos the 2 "Sensitive" Balms. I have both the "Instant Relief" and the "Instant Irritation Relief" ones and it is, i think, just a recent labeling exercise to add the word "irritation"

They both have exactly the same ingredient list and both contain an amount of witch hazel extract.

Fantastic product never the less.

The green one contains Glycyrrhiza inflata, a part of the Licorice family.

Oh thats weird - i compared both of mine side by side today and its exactly the same list of ingredients! Maybe it's a regional thing?

So it's Chamomile and Witch Hazel in one, and Chamomile and Panthenol in the other.

Really strange this one. I have both the "Instant Relief" and the "Instant Irritation Relief" and the list of ingredients' on the box and on the bottle label is the same for all four bottles. I have purchase them in the UK over a 2 year period, including recently.

Disappointingly I don't have the standard red packaged La Toja AS balm...

The above is either a choice of Panthenol or Aloe Vera.
