Hi folks, I've literally just started wet shaving after using cartridges for the last 25+ years. I was sick of shaving being a chore and the cost of cartridges.
I got in touch with The Executive Shaving Company and visited them the next day (luckily I'm a half hour drive away!).
I met with Brian who gave me sound advice and tips with me leaving with a Merkur 34c, an ES brush and ES shaving cream, plus 1 or 2 extras.
Straight home, played with my new toys, and initially thought....meh...it's okay.
Shaved the next again day.....and just wow. Love it.
I usually suffer razor rash and bumps but these have already started to clear, so everything is great so far.
I know I'm just getting started but I'm already willing my stubble to grow so I can get the tools out again!
Watching lots of videos, in particular Kevy Shaves, and just looking for whatever tips and tricks I can get.
Thanks for letting me join the forum and [emoji482] to many years ahead of happy shaving (whilst hopefully NOT breaking the bank!)

Welcome to TSR. The Merkur 34C is a good razor and hard to find fault with it.
