I have been helping a friend today who had to close his Model Shop Business down due to ill health. A while a go to help photograph things for Ebay he got a PortaFlash 336VM Studio System. Anyway he never used it and never will so he gave it to me. A generous and kind gift.

So I have now got something to mess around and play with. Having never used anything like it before it's going to be trial and error.

Have fun.

Nice one, cheers Norman.

I have been messing around at the moment with different positions for the lights. The only problem being that the kids get fed up easily. As soon as I get the ideal set up I will post some results. It's all new territory for me.

I'd start off with still life. My family always had something better to do!

My son (10) has been helping quite a bit, he's after something but I can string it out a bit and then "give in". He doesn't know it but he doesn't have to earn any more points.
