Just received my Novus Spice. The scent is a wonderful take on Old Spice. Really looking forward to tomorrow's shave.

No I don’t do preshaves at moment, but I do get asked to make one.
To be honest, I’ve never used one and subscribe to view that face wash with good natural bar soap should be good prep when using a good shaving soap.
I might do an oil-based one to match the shaving soaps later in the year. Best Regards Brian
