Count me out of any stubby brush, thanks! But you are right, I feel - a stubby 400 would fly off the shelves IF the price could be kept down, as in pot metal casting.
It isn't too hard to make a cutting tool for a lathe that cuts curves.Curves and metal turning do not go together so it will have to be a geometric design - unless he has a CNC machine?
I have an aluminium rubberset homage made by our own midas. I am the 2nd owner but reading up on it's history it seems to have been a lot more work than first thought. The handle is fantastic in shape size and weight. Can't comment on how it compares to an original though. Only thing is it currently has a 24mm v2 synth in it which I feel is a little small for it. I might have it re knotted.
