We had several, from medium to higher priced, none of them survived more then one year. But then we also had several Jura's and those didn't last much longer.
I'm a Nespresso fan. The coffee is good and it's an ethical business if you're into that sort of thing. And after sales support is pretty good from them. I'm on my 3rd machine. The first broke after 2 years but it was my fault as I never descaled it and we live in a hard water area. I learned my lesson there. I gave away my 2nd machine after a year to my daughter and bought a Vertuo (big capsules) after getting sucked in to the sales hype but it was a mistake as in practice I don't use any of the big coffee sizes. Don't think they're worth it. I just like the espresso and double espresso sizes and make up an Americano with hot water. The quality is good but I'd revert back to the smaller machines if I needed to buy again.
I also have an Aeropress and a Moka pot but they stay on the shelf. No question that the coffee is better brewed in those but the convenience of the Nespresso is a huge benefit for me.
Just make sure you descale them! [emoji12]
