P1800 coupe is one of my favourite all time cars after watching The Saint growing up.
Your car Sir - is stunning. Even with it being the 'family' version
Please tell me you don't put lawnmowers and bikes in yours haha !The "Familiy Version" is a good one.
But Yes, I use the car with my familiy. This would not work with a Coupé.
Here is a cut out of a 1973 Volvo sales brochure. There the Volvo Guys explain their intention of the Estate body.
There is actually a myth that the deepth of the laggage compartment was defined by the size of a golf bag.

A fabulous classic, looks fantastic .With the sunny weather this morning and the fact in mind that the season not will last forever, I took the 1800ES for the ride to work. Here a shot of the characteristic rear of the car.
Enjoy your weekend, gents.
Best Regards

You live / work in a beautiful place Marco and your car is just as beautiful.God Morning Gents,
With the sun shining I took the ES to come to Work this morning. Here a shot taken in the narrow streets of Copenhagen Downtown.
Have a nice day!
Regards Marco
A beautiful car in a beautiful setting. The picture below was taken last weekend while we had this golden october wheater in Denmark. As the ES is registred as Classic Car the period for driving it is limited to medio march to medio november.
I took advantage of the dry conditions to service the car before its winter rest. Beside a interior and exterior clean up, the car gets checked valve clearence, coolant/refrigerant and an oil change for engine, gearbox and final drive to be ready for the next season. See you in 2017, Gents.
Best Regards
