The BBS was indeed the cheeks. The left hand side of my face was more tricky as I'm right-handed and that got in the way of my view of the razor in the mirror. I found holding the razor a bit difficult in the chin area too but I expect this to get easier.

One handed. Are you shaving one handed or swapping?
One handed is harder. For years I shaved one handed. That's how I was taught. A couple of years ago after seeing different videos on You Tube I switched to ambidextrous and I have to say it is much easier because you have more angles available to you.One handed.

I'll give it a go, I don't shave every day but next time I'll try it.One handed is harder. For years I shaved one handed. That's how I was taught. You might want to consider
Down stroke: right hand to right cheek / neck, left hand to let cheek / neck
Upstroke / cross stroke: reverse above
The one handed method I was taught was an XTG pass on every area.
1. Neck to wear, non dominant
2. Ear to mouth non dominant
3. Mouth to ear dominant
4. Jaw to collar dominant
Hope there is something of help there...

Same here, that's where the two nicks I got were but then if I ever cut myself DE shaving then it was there I'd get it, too.I shave one handed, but have to change the hold on the other side, otherwise the handle fouls on my ear!
Most damage is done just below the corner of the mouth.
