My First Restore

Having read and digested all the available info on this forum here is my first restore attempt.
Blue steel razor of eBay for a couple of quid
Before[attachment=2]
The blade was quite poor condition with a marked frown not very obvious in pic and the scales were not worth saving the only thing saved was the black wedge.
I decided that as I had some blue acrylic form a previous woodworking project that this would fit in well with the blue steel razor. (See the connection?)
The blade was sanded through a series of grits 60, 80, 120,160 then went on to 400wet & dry , 600wet & dry, 1200wet &dry and then four stages of polishing compound. (Gray, Green, Blue and Pink).
The acrylic was cut to shape using a cut off wheel with a dremel and roughly sanded using the dremel.
Final hand sanding was done with the four grits of wet and dry
The embellishments are bead caps that my 4 year old daughter uses for her jewellery making drilled out using a 1.5mm drill bit with the dremel.
