I have both razors but I'm not sure the Rocca it's more efficient than the Rockwell 6S, I'll pay more attention next time I shave with the Rockwell 6S plate No 6.
I will say though that the Muhler R41 it's more efficient and gives me a smoother shave when I have over a couple of days growth.
Thanks very much for the help.
I'd looked at the R41 and was trying to decide between that and the Rocca, and initially thought the R41, might be a bit too harsh, and that the Rocca might be midway between the 6S on plate 6 and the R41.
I currently have the Rockwell 6S and use plate 6 mostly with ito. I love the 6S, but would like another razor for my choice/collection.
I would be interested to know, if the Rocca would be more efficient than the Rockwell 6S would be with plate 6, as a reason for me adding a new razor to my collection, would be to have a more efficient razor than I have now.
This morning I shaved with the Rockwell 6S plate 6 and it's a nice shave, equally nice as the Rocca but the Rocca feels more efficient but by the end of the third pass I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two razors.
I still prefer the R41 for a very close shave and the Rockwell as my daily driver.
The Rocca, in comparison with the Rockwell, seems better made, there isn't any roughness around the edges, like the Above The Tie razors, on the other hand the Rockwell is the workhorse, having said that the Rockwell proves the point that it doesn't have to look beautiful to work well.
Thanks very much for the help. It is extremely useful.
Might have to look into the R41 instead, as one of the reasons for me wanting to add another razor to my collection, was to have something more efficient at my disposal.
Thanks very much again, you have been extremely helpful
