Much interest in coffee here still?

Just found the coffee thread on here but it's been a bit quiet of late. Have all the coffee heads left or have you all taken Kula Shaker* to heart?

* Drink tea for the love of God.

Anyway, here's a cappuccino I knocked up earlier, Guatemala Bosques de San Francisco natural from Rave.

Just got some beans today from a Glasgow company - Naked Roaster.
Excellent service (roasted and delivered today!) and made a great espresso with Brazil Santos beans.

My mate who gave me the Sika steaks I posted in the other thread has a Barista Pro. I've just finished a tin (yes, weird screw top Wizard of Oz style tin) of mystery beans from Good Coffee Cartel in Glasgow.

The mystery turned out to be the below, and you would not guess the beans from the taste.

I use a mocha pot to make a cup every morning; either a French roast or an Italian roast.

I ditched my espresso machine a couple of years ago and have been surviving on V60, Clever and Kalita Wave, but I've recently ended up getting a Cafelat Robot so espresso is back on! Coffee By The Casuals this morning.

Ah, a familiar face Wintoid! How do you find the Robot? Looks like fun.
Rufus, my other half is Spanish, so we have had many a moka pot when visiting the outlaws. Apparently there's more technique to it than just filling it up with coffee and heating it till it stops. I have made the coffee while over there but not really sure how to get the best from one. I have an espresso machine for home and an aeropress for when I want brewed, cold brew, or for travelling. TBH though, I find the aeropress easy and convenient but not massively inspiring. I've had some great pourover when out, but never invested the time or got the gooseneck kettle etc for doing it at home.

Hey @hotmetal, the Robot is really great, so long as you don't need steamed milk. I like how it looks, it produces good coffee, I'm pretty sure it's indestructible, and there's practically no cleanup or maintenance.

+1 for the Moka pot! easy to use and I've even taken it out into the wild woods!

I definitely struggle to get started without at least one espresso. Especially if I'm intending to shave, I want to be properly awake with that straight razor in my hand!

My coffee corner in the kitchen, Vertuo for big mugs of coffee and gone back to beans so replaced the original machine with the Flair and having great fun dialling it in, next on the list is an upgrade for the grinder.
