What an odd thread this turned out to be.Movember predates the bearded, skinny jeans wearing, £10 bowl of cornflakes eating fashion by about half a decade and the Handlebar Club has been going for 70 years.
Fair dues though, ridicule some blokes having a stab at raising some money for men's charities while happily chucking money at your wives' mates doing the Race For Life (you wouldn't dare not).
Like I said, there was some easy folding money waiting for anyone who wanted to have a crack at this.
I'll just spend it on sponsoring a dancing bear or handicapped donkey now. You know, real worthy causes.

Especially if one has a goatee for example.
If I grow a beard and look in the mirror I'll be snow blind!Nothing much changed for me since my last post here in 2018. Every day is Movember for me, with the only notable difference being that my whiskers seem to have acquired rather a lot of white bits here and there. Not so much "pepper and salt", more "mustard, ginger and polar".
Are we talking big sideburns, gold neck chain and 70's sunglasses too, with dodgy synthesizer music playing in the background ?Did it a few years ago, ended up looking like a 70's porn star.
I think I've still got the flowery shirts! Are we talking big sideburns, gold neck chain and 70's sunglasses too, with dodgy synthesizer music playing in the background ?
... Ahhhhh..... That's much better. As ever, wifey nagged me to do Movember .... I then "forgot" to shave for a week once again....
.... and once again i became irritated with the growth after a few days, couldn't decide on a moustache style, so have abandoned it (again).
Looking forward to a decent shave tonight and i will chuck a tenner into the charity box
