Movember

What an odd thread this turned out to be.

Personally I just donate on the website.

Don't bother sponsoring people or anything.

As to growing a moustache being lazy.

I find it easier to shave my entire face rather than trying to avoid moustache or other facial hair.
Especially if one has a goatee for example.

I've just got rid of my goatee. It is definitely more work now c/f with shaving half my face.

But, I have done Movember in the past, and this year I'm sponsoring a lad at work, who sprouts at a prodigious rate, so I expect something fairly impressive from him in 27 days time.

It's meant to be a fun thing, a bit of a laugh, something that you can take the piss out of while supporting a really good cause. Perhaps some people forget that.

As ever, wifey nagged me to do Movember .... I then "forgot" to shave for a week once again....

.... and once again i became irritated with the growth after a few days, couldn't decide on a moustache style, so have abandoned it (again).

Looking forward to a decent shave tonight and i will chuck a tenner into the charity box

Nothing much changed for me since my last post here in 2018. Every day is Movember for me, with the only notable difference being that my whiskers seem to have acquired rather a lot of white bits here and there. Not so much "pepper and salt", more "mustard, ginger and polar".

If I grow a beard and look in the mirror I'll be snow blind!

... Ahhhhh..... That's much better.

I feel properly relaxed again, now I have had a shave. All is well with the world.

Does that mean I should shave off my sideys, or stop wearing Aviators, or both? Or are both ok so long as there's no medallion involved? All my shirts are either check or plain, no flowers. And I was too young in the 70s to know much about porn, over and above being somewhere between confused and amused upon finding some "hedgerow grumble" at an inappropriate age.
