Thanks for the warm welcome folks. I think I may have found a razor already. Things move fast around here don't they?

FergieBilly appears to have exactly what I'm looking for, so off to a good start... I just need to learn how to use it without butchering myself now. What could go wrong?
 
Welcome along @Glenn Booth - looks like I don't need to issue the standard warning about being careful of the rabbit holes down which newbies fall, and their wallet follows simultaneously

Practice slowly, stick to shaving with the grain to start with until you're totally comfortable with it, and you should avoid any Sweeney Todd moments
