Moon Soaps Aftershaves -any good?

Following my SOTD post today I'm interested in people's experience with Moon Soap aftershave.

The aftershave sample in my SOTD came free with my last online purchase. The Moon Soap stuff I am led to believe is decent, but this wasn't.

Instead of rum, tobacco and bergamot, etc. the product blurb says I should smell it just smelt of medicinal alcohol. Feels nice on the skin mind. That being said there were floaters in this sample which suggest this sample may have been old/duff...


Anyone else had experience with Moon Soap aftershave (positive or negative)

Scent itself is obviously subjective, I'm more interested in people's experience with skin feel, scent potency and scent staying power

I love Moon soaps stuff. Both the soaps and the aftershaves. The aftershaves have great skin feel, my favourite is the Tobacco flower along with Astoria. The scents last well for aftershaves, I have bought all mine from Blades and Whiskers, I’ve had samples from them of the aftershaves, which were a little cloudy, but the bottles are fine. The soaps are slick and protective, scents are on the light side in the soaps. I wholeheartedly recommend Moon soaps

Thanks. I've clearly had a duff sample then (there were floaters in it and it smelt of FA other than medicinal alcohol...)

The long-lasting scent you describe is encouraging, I'll give them a go next time I need to order something...
