I've just finished this - three quite lengthy novels. I'm looking forward to seeing the films.

Unrelenting drama - a great read.

I finished it about 3 weeks ago - well, the last part - read the first part in January

He's still in the news despite dying in 2004... <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/nov/02/stieg-larsson-partner-sweden-inheritance" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/no ... nheritance</a><!-- m --> <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/sweden/7724057/Stieg-Larsson-fans-fight-to-solve-mystery-of-missing-book.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldne ... -book.html</a><!-- m -->

I passed my copy on to a friend, Damian, and she said exactly the same, but persevered. Now (less than a month later), she's steaming through part 3 barely speaking to anyone, and feeling bereft that there isn't a fourth book to go on to (or maybe there is ...).

Yes, very good books. Interesting guy who wrote them. Used to train women in self denfense, not the kind stuff, but deadly force was tought. He also was a big anti rasist guy and a union man.

I just finished the first one, good read. glad I bought the second one in Sciphol.......I would not mind a quid for every time they put the coffee on or were drinking coffee. :lol:

We´re crazy about coffee here, I think we drink most coffee in the world per capita - it´s us or Finland anyway.

I'm about 1/2 way through the first one! Slow, boring start I thought. but I'm glad I stuck at it, much more interesting now. My wife is 1/2 way through the third one. :)

Yes, I´m sure ... I think ... :lol:

Just finished watching the 3 movies, i thought they were pretty good and got the basic thread of the books across. i was particularly impressed by the actress (Noomi Rapace) who played Lisbeth as i thought she really nailed it.

The bad news is that Hollywood are going to remake this next year :evil: Cue: gratuitous product placement, CGI, car chases, explosions, ethnic diversity and no anal :shock:
