Meißner

After considering what seems like hundreds of products, I think my next soap will be Meißner. But what is better, soap or paste? I have only used creams so far as they seem easier to lather. For those who love this brand what would they recommend. I have considered samples but they seem poor value. Thanks

I have tried a sample of the soap (Exotic Elemi) and it was good from what I can remember, scent wasn't my cup of tea. I have the Shaving Paste in Wild Oranges and it is really good stuff, filled to the brim and gives me a good lather and ticks all the boxes. The scent is an earthy orange.

I personally would recommend the paste because the price is almost identical and you get 200g of product as opposed to 98/75g for the soap. As for scents, that is up to you. Wild Oranges would be my shout or something neutral like Pots of Milk.

Paste for me.

Lavender De luxe is lovely, as is Dark Limes, although I can imagine the latter being an acquired taste. Mint ice menthol is also really nice.

Personally prefer the paste - you really don't need a lot as it transfers easily and readily to the brush.
