Maybe Treet have consolidated their lines?

Those white carbon will be what we know as the Classic. I've bought them before thinking they were Black Beauties. The actual blade has the same design as the New Steel.

Slightly different packaging, but you get the idea.
I also imagined that they could be the blades that replace the Treet Classic.
It would have seemed a shame if Treet no longer produced white carbon steel blades and now we know that they will continue to do so.

The race is on!

I ordered direct from RBC last month and it arrived in UK Customs quite promptly. That was the 30th! That order has been sat there since then. Let's see if an Amazon DE order can push through before that direct order is released.
I didn't know RBC orders came from abroad. Thought it was a UK thing. Anyway, I've ordered today Sat at 2pm. Fingers crossed I win.

Ordered 23/02/2025
Milan (IT) > Pulheim (DE) > The Hague (NL) > Heathrow (UK) ... where it's sat since the 30th.

I've since made an order with China that went from order to arrival in four days. Let's see how the might of Amazon (DE) fairs.

Nice to see that Treat is still making the thicker Black Beauty style Carbon blade as some shavers with older pre 1920 or very cheap shavers need these kinds of blades.

Looks like you're going to win @Ebberman

Mine got all the way to my local delivery hub ... simply to be returned. No delivery attempt. Just returned. Now it's on its way back.

Well done DPD!

Just yesterday, I used a Treet King for the first time in a long time and was really impressed. A close and very comfortable shave, with no irritation. I did WTG, XTG and even ATG without any problems, with excellent glide and no red spots.

The blade is sharp but at the same time gentle on the skin, very well balanced. If it maintains this performance in future shaves, it will remain one of my favourites.

Did you not read @pjgh's post? King is discontinued.

Treet Edge X.
An excellent shave. Smooth yet close. I used a Pakistani razor NEATT, with Proraso Red.

Sounds good! I'll wait a day or so to try to figure out what's gone awry with my order ... if it really has. I'll order direct. I got carried away when I saw it on Amazon (DE) and didn't think to check RBC themselves.

So, different from the Platinum I take it?

It's not easy to tell, because the razor used alters the experience and the feel. At least for me. I was expecting a bite - a definite "this is not a toy" feel, but it was so smooth that I was surprised afterwards how close the shave was.
What category does it go in? Perhaps it's Platinum without the platinum. A standalone plain stainless steel.
It's up there with the Platinum.
I used a Classic last week. A close shave, but I could feel it. Same razor, not so smooth.
