I've been missing Tabac so much over the last few years that the recent price drop was all the catalyst I needed to plug in my refill.
Opening the foil wrapping reminded me that I've survived far too long without this top lather generator and manly scent.
Good to use my custom turned wooden lid again; far superior to the annoyingly clattery plastic original.
Tabactastic!

Very very much so. Quite a daring scent

And very much out of the mould of your other recommendation with Laboratory Perfumes Gorse which has been a massive hit. Again away from the norm

I've seen Tabac mentioned on here so many times recently and the last time I had a bottle I probably didn't have much of a beard to shave, it was that long ago. So when I saw some the other day I had to. 100ml ASL. Funny how smells can transport you back in time... I'm currently in a Mod do some time in the 1980s!

It’s arrived..honestly wasn’t expecting great things from this brush but I have to say the quality is honestly quite good..the cheap looking black plastic ring around the knot was not cheap looking at all in fact quite substantial unlike the cheap boar version they do..I have posted a photo of the two together to show the quality difference here, I will be giving it a run out in this evening’s shave so will report back in the SoTd how good the knot is but the handle itself I’m really quite impressed with

It’s been a good spending month for me. The wife bought me this out the blue and she’s also ordered me the Blackland Dart which should be here tomorrow or the next day.
i also got this cheeky little feather from ebay.
£40 with hardly anyone bidding which i couldn’t understand.
Dontcknow anything about the feather but once i’m home from work possibly august i’ll email The feather museum.
By the way how good does the bronze timeless look ?

So today has been like Christmas! Finally the Fatboy arrived, (thankfully surviving being dumped through the front room window!) it looks stunning and I can’t wait to give it a try tomorrow! Chris at Razorplate has excelled himself! Add to that a massive selection of soap samples and blades from @fly3k and I think I’m good for this month! I can’t wait to give them all a go!

Novel one, thought I'd resubscribe to the personnel barber for a couple of months (used to do it ages ago when I started out). Another bloomin oil that I'll throw in a drawer somewhere. Blade banks are always handy, and a weird mix it yourself fragrance sample set.

The oddest thing to me was the soap (Kepkinh Cool Water), it marks it as cream but the consistency is liquid. Nice smell to it, I'll see how it performs

Kepkinh (those are actually the Greek letters, so it’s pronounced Kerkini) is a Greek (surprise surprise) artisan. I bought their Eve shaving soap from personal barber a while ago, and it really was exceptional! So much so that I ordered another 4 of his scents/soaps that are waiting for me in Greece next time I’m able to travel out there!

Not tried the creams though so would be interested in how it performs!
