Major Shaving Brush Brands

I bought a brush sold by The Yorkshire Soap company here in UK. It's performs very well, super face latherer and prefer it over my chubby2 synthetic. A 10 £ bargain.

Indeed an artisan however I highly rate Runeman Nordic Shave Design. He makes brushes and ceramic bowls and is really good at it. Rune is based in Denmark and it takes around 5 days for delivery to the uk. Most knots are Boti. Sorry in advance for enabling.

What are the major brands of brushes?

I am aware of the following brands:

Acca Kappa
Da Vinci
Kent
Kohinoor
Mason Pearson
Mondial
Morris and Forndran
Muehle/HJM
Omega
Rooney
Semogue
Simpson/Vulfix
Shavemac
Thater
Vielong
Wilkinson Sword
Yaqi
Zenith
I'm glad to see that a vintage company like Wilkinson Sword is increasing its shave paraphernalia.

Isn't a better question "how many brush manufacturers are there". As with anything else, there tends to be a fairly limited supply chain of 'base materials' then lots of suppliers of finished products, in this case who "manufactures knots", who "makes handles", who "assembles into a finished product"? I don't know the brush industry that well but I would imagine that the 'brands' use a 'unique to them' combination of knot and brush and put their name to it??

Not sure if this is considered a big brand or not but they have one model.
the Viking Blades: Shaving Brush

Bambaw brands single model, they are a bigger brand that have been seen in a number of Walgreens not the brush but the 3 piece Safe-T-Shavers mainly the women's colors for a period in the 2020's and one time I saw the 3 blade modern shaver at my local Walmart: Bambaw Shave Brush

nom is a Muhle brand according to USA Amazon so no need to have as a separate brand: nom shave bush

Also, a number of brands buy exclusive models either as exclusive deals or by buying up all the stock .

Saw that Oliworks, a USA brand has its own shaving bush where they make handles for the brushes in sythetic black and silvertip badger. I would consider the brand despite being an expensive brand for shavers, a major brand.
