I have this safety razor. It’s a very nice one and it shades very well. It’s got a lot of weight behind it. It’s a really nice safety razor for a collector. That’s for sure.
John, how does it compare to the Zamak R89? i used to have the Twist and loved it to bits. Is it worth the money spend as in picking up the SS instead of the humble Zamak version ?

I have both and although the R89 J80 weighs a bit more the shave is very similar. Blindfold shaving I'd struggle to tell the difference. So it's only worth paying the a multiple of the price if you value the improved precision and potential longer life you should get from stainless steel.

I have no regrets. I even bought a spare when I saw someone on Vinted selling theirs half price.

It's also a nice handle to use with the head of an R41 GS to create an R41 in stainless steel.
