Indeed, the normal shaving soap contains tallow and the normal cream contains beeswax.

I have been using saponificio varesino this past week. This beats any other quality soap and cream I have used before. Lathers like a dream . Creamy cushioning meringue.best feel ever face lathering. Buy the refill puck if you have your own container. Yes,every hard and will last ages. This is the only soap that I wanted to buy the range.
Uhoh, judging from your description, this list is going to be pretty expensive for me, as some of them sound very tempting...
Veganism is about avoiding both physical harm to and exploitation of animals - as far as possible/as individually decided. Pollination is a natural function they would do irrespective of whether we nick their honey and wax.Hi, just wondered....do they kill the bees to get the wax? If not surely that would be ok. Without the bees, you wouldn't have anything to eat as they pollinate all the lovely fruit and veggies! As far as I know, bees are never harmed and they are essential for crop production.
Nooooo.....
Curiousity got the better of me and decided to order Saponificio Varesino Stella Alpina and I discovered that it contains beeswax (Cera Alba).
Well, I cought it right in time, but I feel cheated now, as I was really curious and looking forward to try it.
Well, maybe it is a sign, to rather use the soaps I already have instead of ordering more and more
