Looking for vegan shaving soaps

Indeed, the normal shaving soap contains tallow and the normal cream contains beeswax.

Another potential option could be Soap Commander: https://soapcommander.com/collections/shaving-soaps

Available with cheap shipping from Maggards.

I am waiting for the delivery of my first order (Soap Commander - Endurance) that I put down last week

Another vote for saponificio varesino, it is getting more and more interesting
Is there any scent that is especially recommended?

I've contacted Catie's Bubbles and Captain's Choice and am waiting for a response.

Opuntia is a Creed Aventus style scent (smokey pineapple)
Mirto di Sardegna is a Cartier Declaration style scent (spicy citrus)
70th Anniversary is a Armani Acqua di Gio style scent (Aquatic citrus Cologne)
Dolomiti is citrus and lavender
Tundra Artica is rose and oud
Felce Aromatica is a bright soapy citrus fougere
Manna di Sicilia is citrus floral
Stella Alpina is sweet citrus
Cosmo is citrus, coffee & vanilla

I've tried many of them and am yet to find one I actively dislike, they are all well crafted scents.

Very true, if it is only about the mechanical shave itself

As many of you, I discovered the joy of shaving anew, celebrating the time in the bathroom pampering yourself. This is a whole different thing. No one "needs" a soap with a price of 20+ €, but it might be something nice to have, something for a special occasion or those precious moments during the stressfull day.

Of the veg soaps I've had regularly, SV performs the best, then Soap Commander, then Wickhams. SV are wonderful, and the expensive price isn't so bad when you realise how long they last. My criticism of SV is that the scents are a bit weak.

Jabonman/Eufros usually has some vegan soaps available, and they are also top notch.

I thought I had read that Santa Maria Novella was vegan, but can't now find the evidence. Wonderful soap that.

I got a very nice reply from Catie's Bubbles, which indicates a great customer service. All of their shaving soaps are vegan friendly.
I really should compile a list.

Personally I have had no problem but got my soap for free after two other users gave up due to skin irritation (both lasted only two shaves)

Nooooo.....
Curiousity got the better of me and decided to order Saponificio Varesino Stella Alpina and I discovered that it contains beeswax (Cera Alba).
Well, I cought it right in time, but I feel cheated now, as I was really curious and looking forward to try it.

Well, maybe it is a sign, to rather use the soaps I already have instead of ordering more and more

Hi, just wondered....do they kill the bees to get the wax? If not surely that would be ok. Without the bees, you wouldn't have anything to eat as they pollinate all the lovely fruit and veggies! As far as I know, bees are never harmed and they are essential for crop production.

Veganism is about avoiding both physical harm to and exploitation of animals - as far as possible/as individually decided. Pollination is a natural function they would do irrespective of whether we nick their honey and wax.

Oh dear! Apologies for leading you astray, I had no idea as it says 100% vegetable
