It is...really resinous, cypressy vetiver and it certainly lasts.If you prefer deeper less sweet brooding fragrance then Lalique's Encre Noir is excellant at around 24 quid. It lasts an age but is a deep deep vetiver .
I read somewhere that Special No. 127 is the chassis on which No.89 is built.Just what I needed, not only does that man of taste & discrimination, Vinny ( not Joe ) cite 127, but then S/Shave backs him up.
