If you enjoy GIT then JF could be worth sampling, it's got a GIT/Cool Water vibe going on... I've seen it said “same church, different pew”, can't really argue with that.

TBH 89 is the one which works best for me in pretty much all respects, but I don't believe Floris ever made a poor scent. Pick a couple and see which you feel is best on your skin when it settles down. And enjoy the day.

I do have a sample of Habit Rouge. I liked it but it goes quite sweet on me during the dry down. It does pass but I'm 100% sure about it.

I bought a bottle of Guerlain Heritage on Friday, so that should be with me in the next couple of days. I've never tried it, which I know is a big no-no but it kept cropping up when I asked this question, so I thought what the hell.

Heritage was the first Guerlain I bought and I still use it. It's a great all rounder, imo. Hope you like it

Good shout that. Masculine rose scents have always been a staple in Vinny's collection.

Personally, I'd pick Special 127 though, just because it's a bit unusual and slightly unloved.

Elite would be right up there too.

Hi Rob. You already own some crackers I see. A couple I have bought recently and am mightily impressed considering that on Allbeauty one is under £20 and the other under £25 respectively are Versace The Dreamer and Mont Blanc Individual. Both really classy and have great longevity. Well worth checking them out as they are lovely and great for compliments.

Many thanks for the recommendations. I have tried Mont Blanc Individual but I wasn't a massive fan. If memory serves it was too sweet for me. I could be wrong but either way, it wasn't for me. I will try Versace The Dreamer though.


I bought Chopard Noble Vetiver Eau De Toilette Spray 80ml (yes 80ml) for £21.00 delivered last night after @Scotshave recommended it. Apparently it's a close match to Wickhams Cashmere.
 
I like 127 too. It was my first Floris and is still going strong. History advises us that, allegedly, Winston Churchill and Eva Peron were devotees.
