Leather bulk Turkish Barber's Cologne

Got a big N&M Beauty Leather cologne to go with my Tobacco cologne - it's not bad for the song it cost !

Obviously it's got to be decanted first but is a great everyday splash.

It's cheap enough to use as a carpet or air freshener and the Lemon cologne can be successfully employed as an antiseptic hand sanitiser or razor/clipper steriliser because of the high 80% alcohol content.

They're about £20 a pop on the big river or a bit more on the bay.

Personally I add 3-5% Lemon Essential Oil to the Duru Lemon cologne to give it more potency and efficacy; hence the yellow colour as opposed to the stock clear fragrance.

With all due respect i’m not thinking about going out looking for a carpet cleaner, air freshener or a hand sanitiser when i’m looking for an aftershave.
I mean don’t get me wrong iv got some cheap rubbish but that’s a new level when your thinking about those uses.

I'm used to slumming it in Egypt Mike - anything is better than the smell of sweat and staleness in general to me !

Years ago, before synthetics, soap and frags had to be cosmetics, cleaners and medicines all at once - I'm an old herbalist !

My real passion is oud.

Each of these two blue 12ml bottles was £1200.00 for Wild Kynam and that is very cheap for the quality.

This Vietnamese Nah Trang was only £70 per 1ml - a fifth of a teaspoon - total bargain !

Smells gorgeous but it's about a tenner a drop haha !

I put some oud on my coat and went to the the Halifax bank last year (I use frags as anti-depressants) and the whole bank was nuked with smoky Cambodian Qadeem oud - you could smell it outside ten foot away from me - I got these puzzled looks from passing strangers lol !

That's really funny, and actually really interesting about using them as anti-depressants. I might not have picked those words, but I definitely feel like walking around with a scent I occasionally catch is something that perks me up and has a general levelling effect on my state of mind.

A lot of essential oils and organic fragrances are tonics and pick-me-ups because they are like medicines.

I can't tolerate chemical drugs; that's one of the reasons why I became a herbalist years ago.

Manufacturers prefer to use synthetic fragrances because they are much much cheaper and it earns them more profits but they are nowhere near as psychoactive as the natural organics.

The top perfumes have a 40%-85% mark-up because they are deemed luxury goods; it's just excessive greed unfortunately and ouds suffer from that too but because they are rare they can justify the prices a bit more wintoid.
