Laurel OC razor

I won this off the bay - it arrived today, christ I wish I had a digital camera to post photos. It is lame of me I know. On first inspection, it appears to be in excellent condition.
The box it came in has made in sheffield, england on it. There is no date on the razor.
I cannot seem to find out much about them. I know they do a mini razor (for ladies), but this is a standard size OC.

found this image off B&B - mine came in a different box, but the razor looks the same.

Looks just like a 'Gillette Old Type' clone (unless it pre-dated the Gillette version, obviously :roll: )

They obviously weren't that hot with copyright lawyers back then. Mind you, I don't think Gillette would have cared as long as they were using his blades

I have a Laurel razor myself, Its not a bad razor.

It is. Not a bad one at that - Except it does have Laurel stamped all over the head..
