Kouros was the first proper smelly I bought with my own money in the eighties, I absolutely loved it. It seems to be ridiculed a little bit these days, but I can see me getting a bottle soon.

If something is ridiculed today there’s a good chance I’ll like it! :ROFLMAO:
 
The great thing about vintage Kouros is that it doesn’t spoil. If you can get hold of an unopened bottle it will take you right back to the 80s / 90s. Forewarning don’t get the newer stuff as it is miles away from what it was. @CunningMrFox may have a bottle or two laying around, if not check out eBay and look out for the Parfums Corps stamped on the bottom of the bottle which would indicate that it was made between 1986 and 1993 and oozes that honey and oak moss that early kouros was known for.

I had a sniff of the modern version a few years ago and tbh it was pretty much as I remember it, maybe the strength is not what it was. I've ordered a bottle of the current formulation and I'm ok with it, I'm not overly bothered about chasing vintage :)
