King C Gillette Blades?

Highly under-rated, isn't it @Zorro? I think the tolerances are ever so slightly tighter than the R89/DE89 and so an apparently smoother shave (though no less capable) is achieved. I like mine a lot!

After another 3 shaves with the Astra SP (RUS) + King C Gillette Razor combo (so taking the Astra to 4 shaves and into the "tugging" region) i have to say the King C Gillette Razor shaves very, very similar to the DE89, but is definitely and noticeably a fraction smoother every-time compared to my regular DE89 / Astra combo

So i think your theory about tighter build is likely correct.

Am still very happy indeed to get a capable and nicely chromed razor + 5 premium blades for under a tenner

The Gillette has a Mühle head I read and believe. I have one and it's a fine shaver.
