Sure does ... Gillette should guard their designs more closely
This has a stronger looking comb. The one on the Guard is actually very effective and it's a razor I'd happily use on 10 days of growth or one day. This would certainly appear to be following in the same vein and fitting into the lives of folks who shave periodically.
I tried a single blade Kai some years ago - it was an all metal razor with a really short handle. Sound little razor, that one.
