Kai Captain Sharp Blade

Are these AC blades worth trying and how do they compare to the regular blue Captains? Sharper?



The blue ones aren't my favourites or maybe I need to try them in different razors. Much prefer the newer Pink blades - Mild and guarded versions.

Scarey sharp , too sharp for me , I love the MG Protouch though , I think I may have a blade left , I’ll look and see .

I got a few in a sampler from Try A Blade , I didn’t need to source any more after that as they were too sharp for me .

Did you try the blue Captains as well?
The red ones weren't available from Razor Blade Club so I didn't order any.

Never seen red ones before, but do think both the blues and the Titan milds are superb blades. They do tend to favour certain razors as the blue can be a bit overwhelming.

Shall have to try these reds

To be honest I have never met a duff AC blade from any manufacturer.

Maybe that's the problem. I need to buy more razors!

Have only tried the ATT SE1, X1 and brass General so far. SE2 plate on the way.

I can’t remember using the Blue , aka Kai Captain , if memory serves me right they are a step down from the Sharpblade .
Any way , if you want to find out for yourself you can have the Sharpblade and one of the Captains , just message me your address .
I will be interested to hear your comparison.

No , I wouldn’t buy them again Mike , they are too sharp for me , they will suit others though , it was an experience .
I put them in my basket , it comes to £33.62p .
