Hello,

I've just decided today to get into proper wet shaving at the age of 43!

Last week I had a haircut at Mali in York and when the barber finished my hair he splashed some very nice lemon scented Turkish cologne in my hair on on my face. And what started off being a web hunt for said cologne, (which I think I found) I also ended up not only finding this forum, but also buying this little lot in a starter kit:

Black badger - Ivory
Truefitt and hill 1805
Derby Extra (10x)
Edwin Jagger DE87 - Ivory
No.74 Victorian Lime Aftershave

I'm looking forward to binning my Mach 3s, and can of Palmolive gel hehe.

Hi Paul and welcome to TSR! I allways liked the Derbys I've had, but there seems to be two different kinds flootiung around, if I heard right, wich isn't sure.
 
Well thanks for all the welcome messages! I'll give the Derbys a go and see how I get on. Can't wait for my new shaving gear to arrive, I've been decluttering my bathroom cabinet in readiness!
