Give it a try with Autosol to see if it will clean up to the standard you want if it won't then I would send it away to Neil for a polish and a hone and ask him to sort out a strop for you at the same time.

Thinking that it does have a straight edge to it which is a shame (which would make sense as father in law is a doctor)
