The Tech - what a razor!

I have one of them, fat handle flat bottom tech made in England it's what I use most often, great razor.
I thought they were made 48-49 with dated razors starting 1950.:)

I'm impressed with this soap. It has an earthy sandalwood note with what seems like a lime or lemon note that rides atop.

A great shave with the Super Adjustable. That concludes a successful run through my vintage razors. They're a great part of my den and I've enjoyed the shaves with them.

Does this help identify or narrow down a dating period?
I didn't realise that Tech's had the letter/number date codes too.
It does help, and so does the "Gillette" styling on the cap and the look of the handle. I put it mid '50's.
