Nope no splits or cracks at all, I would say perfect condition TBF.Superb! @mfurie2540 ... no splits in the handle?
You've got a really nice one there. Polishing with Brasso and a yellow duster (not microfibre cloth as it can leave micro-marring and lint/dust) will bring it up sparkling! Using it will develop a lovely patina which will be yours. Enjoy!
Identical to one I have, except in much nicer condition. My Razor turned up yesterdayView attachment 63375
I believe it to be a 1921-1928 Shawmut as in the pic below.

Thank you very much @pjgh for your advice and link to the Gillette Tech website.
I gave it a quick blast in the sonic cleaner and now it does not smell like it's been in the attic for the last 100 years lol man it stunk especially around the handle. I would say it cleaned up rather nicely.

I had a fantastic shave with it and I am very pleased with my purchase.
Stay safe out there.
Rather than add my own picture to this...+1 of these arrived with me yesterday. Looking forward to trying it.View attachment 63031

You may @CjH ,Identical to one I have, except in much nicer condition.
The majority of the plating had come off the top cap on mine the handle had a split, which I had to repair...
Are we allowed to ask how much of a bargain it was?
Nice.You may @CjH ,
I paid £18 for it, It was on sale for a higher amount but the seller accepted my offer.
Yes I bought 100 lancet platinum as well after finding and trying 10 pack .View attachment 62739
The Lancet Super Platinum was one of my discoveries last year, so 100 more and a few other Lancet blades to try.
Interested to find out how you get on with Mogno soap . Been tempted few times to buy it but need to use up what I have firstMy last purchases for a while (the Hampshire wool soap is on order but obviously not here yet.) Initial smell tests reveal the Rasozero Barbacco to be a very mild scent, but the Agrumella to be citrus personified. As @Paul L suggested, the Mogno is indeed "pleasantly masculine", but the bonus for me is the Goodfellas Smile Briar Wood - added as an afterthought to hit free P&PSweet without being sickly and a nice "darkness" there as well. Now to see how they actually perform. New boar brush in there to compare against the synthetic softness of the Yaqis, and the obligatory couple of new blade tucks to try. One happy camper this morning View attachment 62940
That logic has no place here!need to use up what I have first
Will probably break it out in the next couple of days, so I'll update you then.....Interested to find out how you get on with Mogno soap . Been tempted few times to buy it but need to use up what I have first
