Thank You for the input. It sounds like its a good razor. After some more shaves I have reached a few conclusions. The resultant shave with this razor is exactly like that of a post-war Tech, but (and it's a big but) it is smoother. This new Teck II has what is IMO a better way to hold the blade with the four corner "points". That, coupled with a slightly more ergonomic head, gives a tad smoother shave IMO. It is not aggressive by any means.
With that said, I think this is still an excellent daily shaver (perhaps better) for those who like the post-war Tech aggression. But far more than that, this just may be the ne plus ultra DE razor for neophytes when you combine the aforementioned qualities as well as price point. It is incredibly smooth. The perfect beginner or "loaner" DE razor.
As a Gillette Tech enthusiast, curious whether anyone has tried the Baili 191? Currently under £7 on Aliexpress. Is this the same razor? Both ironically have the same shape handle and number of annular rings:

Funnily enough - just mooching at the Kanzy razor. Seems identical to the Baili 171 - slightly cheaper on the Bay.The Baili BR171 is the same razor (same head) and is a SUPERB DE razor!! They are super smooth and the head covers the blade end tabs to boot. I assure you from one Tech lover to another that you will love it.

Thank you for the advice, @Bogeyman - I love my Tech. Wouldnt mind trying an earlier model. However, it's a brave new world researching the cheap remakes. Just realised there are loads of them! You want the short handled one as the long one is as ungainly as an axe handle on it IMO (sold that one).
Likewise, enjoy a cheap razor these days. Been round the block buying razors; now enjoying the basic stuff again. Thanks & good luck. A good razor bought on the cheap warms the heart. I just haggled into a pristine English Gillette "ball end" Tech for $10.00 U..S. total the other day. It's my second of this particular model as I really like the post-war ones better as at least to my face they are smoother.
Thank you @Palmolive fox - I see Baili also do a version with a plastic handle. Would imagine, all the heads are the same. The Kanzy K100 head is identical to the Baili 171, as is the Baili 191, the only difference with the 191 is the handle..Both excellent shavers.
Good man. I'm still looking at various modelsJust bought the Baili for £7.99 on the bay. Will let you guys know what I think.
