Last time I ordered from them I was unhappy with their service. It was at Christmas time and I haven't ordered from them again. You may want to ask concerning shipping if it's not within Canada...
Latest was a Secret Santa gift for a forum member. Don't have the specific dates but time from purchasing to UK Delivery was >30 days. Contacted them 3-4-5 times. Replies were curt and unassuming.
Previous time they said that trucks were being held at the Boarder and that land mail was checked closer than Air.

International shipping is unfortunately fraught with more risk as it often involves two different carriers, often different languages and two different computing systems that obviously don't interface. Years ago when I was in Latin America it was commonly accepted that 50% of mail would be robbed!! I found that incredible to comprehend initially, but such is the Third World mentality. Civil servants were so poorly paid that it was just accepted that they would do this to "supplement" their income.
Yeah you do make a valid point..I guess it's just disconcerting when you have international tracking to prevent such occurrences,...
I think you are misunderstanding that there is NO interface between two different carriers from different countries. There is merely a "handoff" from the initial carrier to the second one. At least that is how it has been explained to me. Once it leaves the country of purchase the tracking is essentially worthless. They may have stated to you that they would look into it, but in reality there is little they can do. In order to get "cradle to grave" tracking you would have to use one carrier for the entire transit, e.g., FedEx, UPS, etc., and their cost for international shipping can be prohibitively exorbitant.
