I suggest just one more poll with the options, weekly, monthly, running. (edit: plus yearly)

see whatever wins and ask Palmolive fox to create that on Monday.

if running wins, I'd say that Barry should be the one to have the honour of being the thread starter. if it's monthly or weekly, he can continue doing the honours as usual.

hopefully no one would be offended by that? it was a good idea to start this thread and suggest changing things up but it's only right imo after years of consistently creating the thread every week.

I would suggest including a yearly SOTD thread in the poll

For me, the silent majority voted with their posts.
This issue has been dragged up over and over again over the years.
It doesn't really matter how many polls you have.
Set up your running thread and leave the option of of a weekly SOTD to those who want it.
Post where you want.

To be honest I like the monthly thread on Shave Den. Plus the fact that the previous monthly thread is closed for entries at the end of the month, but still left open for appreciation.
