I'm not into Instagram, mainly as I don't use my phone for photos as I have never taken a photo with my phone that has been worth sharing with anyone.

I use flickr (s5h.net/flickr). You can get the app and upload with the phone if that's what you want to do.

I've got a Flickr account which I use for all my DSLR pics, just use Instagram as a little visual insight into my life for others I suppose.

I use Instagram for a tiny group which includes my daughters. We use it as a sort of social/ documentary photo journal.

Im rather paranoid about posting photos of myself or family in the public domain, I am sure I read bout a change to Instagrams T&C's saying anything you posted there could be used by them
