Injector razors and blades

Today I broke out my ol' Schick M Model adj. and on a whim loaded one of those NOS Schick Platinum blades made in Holland. The resultant shave was very good, but I have to be honest in that IMO the current Schick Proline B-20 blade is smoother, i.e., sharper. As a matter of fact the "Chick" blade I used in my G Model two days ago shaved smoother. It makes sense as blade coatings/sputtering have progressed tremendously in the past few decades and the Japanese Schick website touches on that when describing the Proline blades. I cannot see any reason for me to buy any other SE blade nowadays but the Proline and the "Chick" as they are simply fantastic.
 
I just used a Schick G Model loaded with a twice used "Chick" blade and stored for months to scythe through a five day beard. Yes, the Proline B-20 is a better blade, but not light years ahead of the Chinese made Schick one to be honest. They both eliminate any blade guesswork for an injector for sure!!
 
But they can work out cheaper for us in UK
