I bought myself a pair of totes slippers for xmas, soles and heals of my feet really hurt lately, was wearing holiday flipflops and they seemed to help but these have a memory type inside and are faring up well to daily/evening and morning wear.

Fiancee is a Podiatrist with OCD so strict rules. Once in shoes off, Havianas on, she is right they are the most comfortable flip flops. My toes are quite 'tight' so this allows for a plenty of air flow.

Slippers that never leave the door. I find bringing the outside grime and God knows what else into a home repugnant. I wouldn't dream of wearing shoes in someone else's home either.

Lots of useful pointers as usual, thanks. Think I'll go for something sheepskin, that sounds really cosy, and some flipflops for the summer.

The slippers RR mentions look a bit like the shoes the Greek guards wear when they do that slow-fast march thing
